The four noble truths (사성제)

① Dukkha (고) = suffering

② Samudaya (집) = the arising(origin or cause) of suffering

③ Nirodha (멸) = the cessation of suffering

The five aggregates (오온)

1. The aggregate of Matter (색온)

(1) The four great elements (사대요소)

① solidity (지)

② fluidity (수)

③ heat (화)

④ motion (풍)

(2) The derivatives of four great elements (사대요소의 파생물??)

① the five internal faculties (육근)

- eyes (안), ears (이), nose (비), tongue (설), body (신)

② the five external objects (육경)

- visible form (색), sound (성), odour (향), taste (미), tangible things (촉)
